Arts Award

Sett offers the nationally-recognised Arts Award program, designed for children aged 11 to 15 to develop their art and leadership skills through creating their very own portfolios.

About Arts Award

Sett is an accredited Arts Award centre with our two moderators, Franky and Al, managing Bronze and Silver Award courses (additional Gold accreditation is in progress for A Level students looking for additional UCAS points). Designed for children 11-15 and adults interested in developing their skills, the nationally-recognised Arts Award program provides a framework for participants to engage with local art opportunities and develop their art and leadership skills through creating their very own portfolios.

The course doesn’t have a specified timeline, so participants can progress at their own pace, with regular weekly sessions for both home Ed and state school groups and on-line catch up and mini art competitions.

In addition to the guidance and moderation offered on our weekly sessions and additional online catch ups, participants have the opportunity to go on supervised excursions to exhibitions and art events, discount on our in-house workshops and classes, as well as the opportunity to participate in our quarterly local art exhibitions.

Some love

From Our Customers

My son and his friends enjoyed a brilliant session, learning different acrylic painting techniques on tiles and then sketching a cute TRex. Franky is fantastic with children, using clear & concise vocabulary enabling the children to follow instructions easily and he makes a killer hot chocolate too!

Kelly Sinclair

Franky was an amazing host for our hen party evening! We had the venue to ourselves for our life drawing class, he made us feel really comfortable, and basically made the whole thing come together. Thank you!
